Lone Star Bar Refit

In 2016 worked with Nigel Molloy Joinery to do the upholstery for the Lone Star Bar in Invercargill.

Panels for Bar

Start with a piece of ply and glue on foam.

Then take some of these gorgeous cowhides (Rawhide Highlander) .......

.... and cover the panels ....

..... six of them.

Fit the panels into wooden frames made by Nigel Molloy Joinery ......

.... and you have a stunning bar frontage for the new Maverick Saloon at the Lone Star Bar

Booth Seating

Framework for booth seating manufactured by Nigel Molloy Joinery - there were four booths to upholster.

Cushion foam shaped and glued to bases.

Backrest foam shaped and glued.

The finished product - in situ. The cushions are covered in black leather - Texas from Dyetech Leathers, and the backrests in Downtown Berry fabric from James Dunlop.

The boys worked hard to get the stripes lined up and even managed to line them up with the table leg!
